1. Who we are
APEX Learning Hub provides educational services, a public website, a role-based academy portal, and a mobile application for students, parents/guardians, teachers and authorized staff.
2. Information we handle
Depending on the service used, we may process account identifiers, names, contact details, student and guardian details, class/enrollment information, attendance, tests, results, fees, messages, support requests, device/session information, security logs, and records submitted through admission or consent forms.
3. Why we use information
We use information to provide education and academy administration, authenticate accounts, link parents with students, maintain academic records, communicate notices, protect the service, provide support, operate the website/app, and meet legitimate institutional or legal record-keeping needs.
4. Google, Firebase and social login
If Google Sign-In is enabled, the portal may receive basic Google account information such as your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier to authenticate or link an existing APEX account. If Google Workspace for Education services are enabled, managed educational accounts may be provisioned and administered by authorized academy administrators. Firebase or Google Analytics may process technical and usage information only when the relevant service is enabled and, where required, consent has been provided.
5. Service providers
We may use hosting, email delivery, Google services, Firebase, analytics, security, backup, and other technology providers to operate the service. We do not authorize providers to use academy data for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies are used for login sessions, security and preferences. Optional analytics technologies are used only according to our Cookie Policy and applicable consent choices.
7. Children and student data
Student information is handled for educational and administrative purposes. Where a student is a minor, the academy may rely on a parent/guardian, institutional authority, or another lawful basis appropriate to the service and applicable requirements. Parents and students should not submit unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Security
We use role-based access, authentication controls, secure transport, restricted administrative access, logging, and other reasonable safeguards. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Retention and deletion
Account and profile data is retained while needed to provide the service. Some academic, financial, security or institutional records may need to be retained after account closure for legitimate record-keeping, dispute, fraud-prevention or legal purposes. Where data is retained, access is restricted and the retention purpose is documented.
10. Your choices
You may request access, correction, account deletion, or information about your data through the Account Deletion page or by contacting the academy at hello@apexlearninghub.ac.pk. Requests may require identity verification.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. The published version and effective date on this page apply to current use.
